Harley Quinn is BACK! And, this time she has to deal with a megalomaniac alien that she set free after opening a door underground (see the previous volume), cannibals, a bat-fan from the future, and old foe, and her parents! Well, the parents not so much, she was busy trying to keep bat-fan off her back.

Anyway, it's a lot of things going on in this graphic novel. I was a bit doubtful at the beginning when the alien got free, but the story turned out to be better than I had anticipated. Still, I found this volume to just above-average, with now and then some funny bits. The action sequences were good and as usual is my favorite crazy chick wreaking havoc wherever she goes. On the plus side is the art straight through lovely! Favorite part? Hm, nothing really comes to mind, no story that really shined more than the others. Perhaps Red Tools part in the bat-fan story, it was a good twist.

Harley Quinn's punk-rock epic concludes with a BANG. Too deep and not covered enough, their undercover mission comes to an end as the gang takes on thieves and murderers. All the laughs and some of the quacks are all here.

Taking a break comes with unexpected woes when Harley and Ivy head to the Bahamas for sun-kissed beaches and ice-cold drinks.

I'm always thrilled to read a new Harley Quinn volume and this started off fun with Harley and Ivy taking a break and traveling to the Bahamas. Then, they discover that the place they are staying at is housing nudists, so they try to blend in with the crowd...

The Bahamas is actually the best part of the volume. One would think that the next story that involves the Joker would be better, but it just wasn't that interesting to read. I just never really found it to be that engrossing, and though it ended with a bang...

Did it feel more like a whimper. It was an Ok story, and definitely better than the last story that involved Santa Claus. Have you seen Innerspace with Dennis Quaid, about a store clerk who is miniaturized and injected into a man? Well, replace the store clerk with Harley and the man with Santa Claus and you get the idea...

The art was OK, not earth-shattering, but I liked it, so at least that. I sure hope the next volume is better!

I so want to love this volume, but frankly, I struggled with reading it. Am I the only one that a bit sick and tired of Zombie storylines? It's up there with vampires that are also a bit overdone by now. Of course, now and then something good will be produced with vampire/zombie in it, I still like The Originals for instance.

Anyway, this volume (that I read a while back, so far back that I had to check up what it was all about since my memory is not getting better as older I get) start off with an alien getting made into hot dogs and turning people into Zombies. Yes, that's the storyline. I was not that impressed. But, at least it was better than the next story arc...

Harley goes to India. I kind of forgot about that. I mean how bad is it that I had to read a review to remember what it's all about and all I can think of is that it's the part of the volume that really sucked. Utterly boring. On to the next story...

The last part I actually enjoyed reading. Harley goes punk. This was at least fun to read and brought an old villain into the story. Loved Harley's punk style and that she sucked at singing. Ah, if the rest of the volume had been this fun had I liked it a lot more.

So, not a favorite volume of mine, it was OK to read (mostly), but I hope the next one is better!
