Thoughts: Yesterday was the last day of my NG readathon and the first day of the May Clean Sweep ARC Challenge. So I did a combination, I started to read two NG books. but I also finished Orphan X that I started before the readathon. However, I will not add Orphan X to the May Clean Sweep ARC Challenge statistic since I read over 100 pages of the book before yesterday. But, it felt good finishing a started book!
So, how did the week go?
I managed to finish 5 books. I was a bit disappointed about that, but I did work 2 days and some of them were thicker than the other. However, I'm pleased with the books I read. 1 book got 4 stars and 2 of them got 4.5 stars. And, that's not bad.
Sister Eve and the Blue Nun was the only book that just didn't work for me that I finished and in hindsight should I have stopped when I realized that early on. Fading Starlight is a blog tour book and I felt that I wasn't the right person for the book, but still it was OK to read!
2 books did I DNF and it felt OK because I'm starting to relax when it comes to not finishing books that don't feel right for me.
